Please join the ISF community online via Zoom for a weekend of education and inspiration. Choose ONE class — two classes run for two days and two run across all three days, so please pay attention to the dates of each class when you register, as they are different!
Every class includes all three evening events — you will automatically receive the Zoom links. Not taking a class? Individual tickets for the evening events are available: Friday’s Spiritualist Divine Service is free, and the Saturday and Sunday demonstrations are £15 each.
Mediumship Through The Creative Mind — Coral Ryder · Fri & Sat, 13th & 14th November · £125 (ISF members £100)

Let us explore combining our innate psychic, mediumistic and artistic talents together in creating spirit art. From the Soul to Soul Art of Auragraphs to Evidential Spirit Portraiture. In these workshops we will look at the fundamentals required in creating Auragraphs and Spirit Portraits. With the aim of producing soul 2 soul art, and spirit portraits in 1-2-1 sittings. From Auragraphs in a Nutshell where we will focus on blending and interpreting colours and symbology. To Spirit Portraits in a Nutshell, where we will focus on how we perceive the information, drawing techniques and proportions of the face.
Please note from Coral: “Art is a beautiful way of exploring your Mediumship. And you don’t need to be an artist already, to begin the journey of discovering the spirit artist within.”
You don’t need to be an artist already to attend this course, drawing and blending instruction will be given. To get the best out of these classes, please have to hand some art materials: I suggest mixed media paper, 4b pencil or charcoal pencil, an eraser, and pencil sharpener for portraiture. And, mixed media paper, soft or pan pastels, eraser, drawing pens, and coloured pencils or felt tips.
About Coral Ryder
Coral Ryder is a renowned Medium, Spirit Portrait and Psychic Artist. Following in the footsteps of pioneering spirit artists Coral Polge, and Harold Sharp, she combines her innate talents as a Medium and artist in creating Spirit Portraits and Auragraphs. Coral serves Churches and Centres internationally as a tutor, speaker and demonstrator on varying aspects of mediumship and psychism. Her particular passion and field of expertise is in Spirit Portraiture and Auragraphs. She has over twenty years experience in this field and delights in helping others to realise their own potential and discover the spirit artist within.
Purposes and Stages of Trance — Lou Ann Beecher · Sat & Sun, 14th & 15th November · £125 (ISF members £100)

In this workshop, Lou Ann Beecher will explore the many purposes of trance, including deepening the connection with Spirit and serving as a foundation for trance healing, inspired speaking, trance speaking, altered states of awareness, and other expressions of trance. Participants will explore the progressive stages of trance development and gain a clearer understanding of how trust, surrender, intention, and experience contribute to this unfolding process.
The workshop will include teaching, discussion, and experiential exercises designed to deepen awareness and understanding. Whether you are new to trance or are already exploring its possibilities, participants will gain a framework for understanding its development and the many applications within their spiritual practice.
About Lou Ann Beecher
Lou Ann Beecher is a Spiritual Medium, Healer, and Teacher. For more than 25 years, she has dedicated herself to the study and practice of mediumship and healing. As an experienced mentor, Lou Ann shares her guidance on meditation, intuition, mediumship, healing, and trance.
Lou Ann is a Reiki Master Teacher, Trance Healer, and the founder of Serenity Guides, based in Maryland, USA, and SoulSideOut, an online Mediumship Membership Community. She has also served as a tutor for the International Spiritualist Federation and the annual International Mediums Week in Blackpool, England, sharing her knowledge with students from around the world.

Take your first and second steps into communication with Spirit. Are you looking for ways in which you can deepen your experience in working with Spirit? Simone will offer some tools and insights into how you can strengthen your connection. She will also offer ways in which you can refine the language between yourself as the Medium and the Spirit Communicators.
About Simone Rüegsegger
Simone Rüegsegger is from Muttenz, Switzerland. She is a working medium, healer and a certified spiritual coach. She teaches mediumship internationally, is a circle leader for mental and physical mediumship and is dedicated to serving Spirit since 2002. Simone is grateful for the gift of building bridges between the spirit realm and the living on this plane. Her vocation is the teaching of mediumship, to share her experience and knowledge. It is a blessing for her, to bring healing for those in need, to ease the pain of mourners, to give a hand in overcoming obstacles and to bring passed loved ones close to you.
Shamanism: A Spiritual Tool for Daily Living — Steven Vogel · Fri–Sun, 13th–15th November · £175 (ISF members £150)

Shamanism is humankind’s oldest spiritual practice. The prehistoric shamans were the first “Ancient Spiritualists.” In this workshop we will review the basics of universal “core shamanism” as taught by Michael Harner’s Foundation for Shamanic Studies, including what a shaman is, the protocols of creating sacred space, the shaman’s cosmology of the three worlds, distinguishing between ordinary reality and nonordinary reality, acquiring an altered state of consciousness—”a light, ecstatic trance state”—via monotonous drumming, accessing nonordinary reality through the shamanic journeying process, meeting and working with the compassionate helping spirits, and shamanic ethics.
We then will apply these shamanic techniques by journeying to the Lower World to retrieve a power animal; journeying to the Upper World to meet a new teacher, healer, or an ancestor; and journeying to provide service to others in the Middle World using several practices from specific shamanic traditions. Applying these shamanic practices to your daily life will deepen your connection with Nature and improve the quality and meaningfulness of your life and that of others.
This is a participatory and experiential workshop and you will have multiple opportunities to journey shamanically. What to bring with you: eye covering, a notebook or journal, and an open and inquiring mind. If you already own a flat drum and/or a rattle, please bring them with you to this workshop. However, being able to bring these latter two shamanic tools is not a requirement for participation.
About Steven J. Vogel
Steven J. Vogel synchronistically was led to “coming home” to Spiritualism and shamanism in 1994. He joined the National Spiritualist Association of Churches on March 31, 1996, and the ISF in 2000 when he attended his first teaching week in Austria, and then every ISF week-long and weekend event 2002-2019. He serves as a healer, medium, speaker, and teacher, and is particularly interested in exploring the spiritual aspects of physical matter through psychometry, spoon bending, and table tipping. He also has studied shamanism since 1995 and serves as a shamanic practitioner and teacher and facilitated ISF groups in Shamanic Journeying since 2003. “Spiritualism and shamanism definitely are the intertwined twin rails of my spiritual path!”
