Dear friends,
This year's convention at Rochester, NY, USA, sparkled with shared memories, dynamic speakers, and fond reunions among longstanding spiritualists of many nations. Rev. Aloma Cason provided us with an enriched understanding of Rochester's role in the history of American Spiritualism and the location of many spiritualist sites, such as the ground of Corinthian Hall, and the obelisk erected in 1927, by Spiritualists from around the world to honor the spirit world.
Our day trip to Lilydale, the world's oldest spiritualist camp, and to the site of the Fox's Hydesville cottage made our history so much more meaningful to us. Spirit messages came through the serving mediums at Lilydale's inspiration stump set in the forest. The rustling trees and the call of the birds heightened the beauty of our day there, while inside the healing temple, we experienced spirit's guidance and comfort.

Among the many talented and well informed presenters this year were Yvonne Limoges, who lectured on Spiritism in the USA, Tom and Lisa Butler on electronic voice phenomena, and Rev. Leila Cutler on American Spiritualist history.
We continue to have the ongoing skilled teaching of Bill Parkins, Pat Campbell, and Ann Robson in different phases of mediumship. Through our yearly conventions, each of us receives an enduring gift. We appreciate our world community of spiritualists, and the vital role we each play. I look forward to seeing each of you in 2008!
With love and light,
Leslie Saunders
